I'll attached images of the printed paper. If we connect the seccond computer to the printer throught the lan cable we get the same weird character. It should be throught the host and its USB. To add more to the complexity of the problem I should say that there is only one way that the printer prints fine with no issue and that is when we print from a seccond computer on the network through the shared printer on the host. This force us to cancel the job manually with the red stop bottom on the printer itself. For most prints it isnt a problem, but when I do a check run and everything prints on the line, instead of above it, it is an issue. When we try to print anything with them form the host computer they will print weird character with a few english character inbetween just on the top lines of the paper and then through the paper out and do the same to the next paper and soon will ran of paper. My company upgraded me to a new computer recently and ever since then my desktop HP laserjet P2035N is printing everything a row or two lower than it should. From a week ago they both started acting wired. we have changed the tuner a few times mainly with off the shelf OEM tuners. the network printer is also connected though the LAN cable. They are both connected through USB cables to windows 7 operated Hp Pro computers. Try to print from several different applications. We have two HP LaserJet printer, one is P2035 and the other one is P2035n. Some applications or PDF files may cause your issue by sending characters into the printer, which printer is not able to interpret correctly.
